Item is as described. Shipping cost is a bit too expensive, especially the packaging is pretty medicore.

A good value in older tech still quite functional.

Works great and after I printed out the super comprehensive manual I learned how to use this older tech camera to its full potential. Its' still very compact and gives good sd pictures. No its not 4K or 1080pi but I don't need that in a tiny point & shoot anyway. All the cables were useable but one on my new equipment. Fortunately I have a older plasma tv set that had rca inputs so I was able to view all my stills and videos on it. But then I was able to download all the pixx using my mac computer and still view them using my hdmi only mac mini and samsung 40 inch curved screen telly using the usb cable the cybershit came with.

  • Good Photo and Video quality. General Purpose Camera.

The Sony T1 is a small shirt pocket size camera. It has a physically small lens about the size of a human eyeball. The advantage of this small lens is that it can be placed close to a microscope's objective lens and a picture can be taken of what is on the stage, just as if you were looking through the microscope. The T1 also has AE Bracketing. It is capable of taking three shots in a row using different exposures. This is a nice feature because when you put the images on an editing pad you can select the best exposure for printing. The features are in the easy to use menu. Prints can be enlarged to make at least an 8 X 10 inch print. There is also a speed burst mode on the camera that will take about eight photos in a row within a second. The video is acceptable, 640X480. Easy to transfer ...

  • Sony dsc-t1 camera

The Sony dsc-t1 camera is an excellent camera, except for the major problem with the defective ccd units which were put in them. This causes the pictures to come out blurry or with dark lines on the lcd. Sony was aware of this problem early on and did allow some to be repaired for free for a period of time. Unfortunately the time has run out and now they refuse to stand behind their mistake and fix any more for free. A camera repair shop will fix them for around $100, with a part that you can buy on Ebay for $10 and it takes about 15 minutes to replace. I personally would never buy a new camera fron Sony due to their uncaring attitude, but when I can buy a $400 camera and repair it for a total cost of $30-$40 , it's a great deal.

  • Buy This Camera Because you will take it everywhere!!!

The best camera is one you have on you ready to take that spur of the moment, impromptu shot that always seems to beat out the planned "Ok now everybody smile" shot in your photo album or picture frame. This is and extremely advanced amazing high quality digital camera that is literally the size of a pack of smokes, even a bit thinner! I bought my T1 after 3 years with an older Sony Cybershot, a camera that had been dropped and stepped on, splashed, and stuffed into my pocket without a case so many times and still takes perfect pictures today, but when I saw how thin the T1 was I just had to have it, and bought one off ebay complete with lots of accesories and a huge memory chip for less then retail. The available accesories is a huge bonus, the underwater enclosure has been a blast at ...

  • Sony DSC-T1, great if it has already been recalled.

This little camera is an excellent pocket camera. Beware there was a recall on their image sensors so many on Ebay still have the bad (blind) sensor. Always ask before you buy if the camera was recalled or if it was fixed by Sony already. They are tough, boot up fast and can focus at just about 3 inches, great for flowers and insects. I think the most important feature of this camera is the folded optics that it uses, NOT the fragile telescoping zoom style that you see on ebay as jammed or broken. This style is definately the way to go for a pocket or purse camera. I would NOT consider ANY telescoping optic camera unless you have a LONG warranty. The video is very good for its size and price nowadays. Only drawback is that it takes Sony style proprietary Memory stick, not cheaper SD ...
