    Chato's Land

    This a very good western movie with a "revenge theme" ala Charles Bronson. A half-breed Indian (Bronson) kills a local red-neck sheriff. The "locals" form a posse and expect to hang him within the day. What is different about this movie and makes it a step-above the "Death Wish" movies is the supporting cast. Jack Palance, Richard Basehart and numerous other good character actors make-up the posse. The results are typical, but it is a well-done movie.
