    good movie

    I grew up listening to Alvin and the Chipmunks - A Chipmunk Christmas on record. I have never been able to find it on CD. I already own the DVD but when I saw that the CD was a bonus included with the DVD, I knew I had to get it. My children, ages 10 and 7 had never heard it and I was so excited to share and relive my Christmas childhood memories with them at such a special time of year. They love the CD and movie just as much as I do. Now after all of these years, I can carry on the tradition that I used to have of listening to that record (CD) every Christmas and learning the spirit of Christmas.

    A Chipmunk Christmas is a blast from the past

    I was somewhat disappointed with this DVD. I expected all the cartoons to be current since it was released in 2005 and the cover shows graphics that are up to date. There are 3 different episodes on it. All go further back in time as the DVD goes on. I think the last one is even from 1983! Now, my daughter loved it, even the "older" cartoons. It just wasn't quite what I was expecting. If you flip the DVD case over there is a time line of years that pretty much tells you that the DVD isn't just 2005. With purchasing it online I didn't have that luxury to see the back of the case. All in all, it gets a thumbs up.
