A rebel knight from King Arthur's round table seeks to expand his empire by force, and terrorises the subjects of Guinevere, who has received an offer of marriage from Arthur. On the way to visit Arthur she has a chance meeing with the free-spirited and bohemian Lancelot, to whom she finds herself attracted. This movie is an adaptation of the myth of Arthur, and is interesting. The performances by Connery, Ormond and Gere are very good. First Knight is a great movie, and one you should not miss. Best Classic Movie known to Man
I was this movie 15 times when it came out... I was only 10 years old. I love medieval weapons because there is skill involved, unlike today anyone can use a handgun effectively without skill. The strategies used in this movie are very clever it's like a real life chess game. I do wish that someday someone will make a remake of this movie with a billion dollar budget to appeal better for the next generation of audience. Anyway if you do choose to watch it you should also get Highlander another great movie a must watch.I was this movie 15 times when it came out... I was only 10 years old.
