    Wonderful for a laugh on late night TV!

    Wonderful for a laugh on late night TV! The humor is outrageous and politically incorrect, but it is so ridiculous that it becomes funnier. Eddie Albert is a great straight man to all the other characters.

    Never ending laughs.

    They just don't make sitcoms the way they used to. Green Acres isn't War and Peace but you will be entertained with constant laughs from Eddie Albert (Oliver) as a lawyer turned gentleman farmer who plows the fields dressed in a three piece suit, his wife, Lisa (Eva Gabor) always dressed in fancy boa trimmed gowns and slippers who isn't happy living on a farm. She can't perform regular domestic chores and the only meal she "thinks" she can cook is "hots cakes". There is an ocean of other zany characters, one of my favorites is Arnold the pig. Yes a pig. This sitcom is filled with some of the great character actors of that era. If you like laughing at zany plots then this sitcom won't disappoint.

    Hilarious! This is so funny and so UNPOLITICALLY CORRECT! It is just plain silly fun. I get a laugh every time I watch these DVDs and it is just mindless comic relief which we can all use about now! There are some Bonus features that are interesting also.

    At last!

    GREEN ACRES is one of my all-time favorite sitcoms -- a masterful blend of loopy surrealism and bucolic charm that sadly never gets its proper due as a true TV treasure. I've been hunting high and low for a sweet price on this Shout! Factory collection, and thankfully found it on eBay.

    Loved this program as a child!

    Wonderful that they finally produced all the years of "Green Acres!" It is one of the entertaining programs with varied actors who knew comedy best. In the world we live in today, this program makes for good therapy to get your mind off of the negative and away from the highly technical problems we face. I received this product quickly, in good shape, and at a discount price.
