    The Atom Archives Volume 1

    I have never seen this book offered anywhere before and although it has some slight damage, it is quite readable and a keepsake. Gil Kane and Murphy Anderson are one of my favorite comic art teams and the first SuperHero comic I ever read was Atom #1 when I was 10 years old on a train going to summer camp. Could never forget that Venus Fly Trap cover because I had never seen or heard of a Venus Fly Trap plant before and I was fascinated by it. Anyhow, the Atom was one of my very favorite comic collectibles as a kid because I loved the art. I would highly recommend this book for any collector. The hard cover is unique, too.

    One of the characters I subscribed to as a kid. Back then comics were folded in half length wise and mailed in a plain brown wrapper. This archive edition is an outstanding reproduction of comics from childhood.

    HUGE, HUGE, HUGE Atom fan! SO glad to finally have, in the palms of my fanboy hands, the early adventures of the Justice League's tiny titan...The Atom! Gil Kane's artwork is just fantastic here! Just wished that the Atom's adventures here were sometimes just a little less science-y and a little less wordy. Was hoping for more straight-up action adventures and less of a science class. Would also have LOVED to have had some Justice League members make some guest appearances and team-ups here. Still, this is a great read! LOVED IT!
