Awesome watch (Bulova Accutron Kirkwood)
This is my first watch that wasn't disposable. Of course I like it. I will just add a few details. The band is adjustable for smaller wrists like mine. It is just a little stiff but has been getting more comfortable after just a day of wearing it. It is very shiny and polished so it shows fingerprints etc quite easily. I don't have something to measure it's accuracy but it's at least keeping time with my smartphone clock. Also I want to change the bad to a more common style so I can use the original after the watch is older. A quality band looks like it would work fine after looking for a similar Kirkwood online that had an aftermarket one. I'm slowing getting used to how the band fastener works as this is my first like this. You can watch the movement through the front and back. Bulova ... This is my first watch that wasn't disposable. Bulova was bought out or sold out a few years ago to Citizen but this model of watch was either made before then or they still make some in Switzerland as it says on the dial. That's the reason I bought this one. The second hand moves very smoothly as opposed to the ones that move "jerky". Check prices and don't pay MSRP. There are also other submodels that either have a light dial or a stainless steel band and a few other differences. Also this is an automatic watch and will need to be serviced every few years or so which is a bit more than replacing a battery but I haven't found out common watch servicing costs. I expect this watch to last many many years.
