  • Disappointed.

I was looking forward to reading this book. I had seen reviews that praised it as a compelling story of how Scott excaped an abusive childhood and found God after being in Creed. I found it dull. It was like every other "I found God and I'm famous" book. I Really wanted to like it. I like Creed.

touchy story of what happens when fame comes to fast to a unstable life, very rich and in depth story and could tell it was written through kinder wiser eyes.

Stapp tries to deal with his past with respect and in humility. He is forthright, without being accusatory. Very interesting tracing of Creed's sudden rise in popularity, and all the accompanies such stardom. Nice to humanize these icons so that we can identify with them more, perhaps even learning from their mistakes. For those familiar with ...
