Best color you can get
So happy that even the old early color productions can be made into Blu Ray discs. The colors and textures are off the charts. Like being there on the set at the time the movie was being made. As for the story WOZ is a timeless classic that will still be a hit a thousand years from now. I love it.

i would recommend this movie to everybody
I bought this because I recently went and saw Oz: The Great and Powerful the new movie and just thought to myself "ohhh! i want to get The Wizard of Oz" so i did. What I like about this product is that it is FULL of special features, I didnt think it would hardly any, but its completely full of them. What I didnt like about this is that to me, the picture looks fuzzy to be blu-ray. Im going to get just a normal dvd of the wizard of oz and see if its less fuzzy.I bought this because I recently went and saw Oz: The Great and Powerful the new movie and just thought to myself "ohhh! i want to get The Wizard of Oz" so i did. Remarkable sharpness and colors
This Blu-ray, following my VCR tape of the movie, is astounding. Surprisingly sharp, and the 1938 colors are beautiful.
