this overlocker replaces a janome mid-range overlocker and it leaves the janome for dead in every way - amazing automated looper threading which is the bane of janome overlockers, very quiet machine, incredible range of stitches, very robust cabinet that speaks quality, very easy to operate once the manual is consulted the first few times - intuitive like a Mac!! I have been wanting a babylock serger for years. No dealers close to me. I had the chance to get this and made a great buy. Seller was wonderful. It is easy to change from cover to serge. All the parts were included. Babylock makes great machines but for some of us they are hard to get..

Wonderful serger to sew with!
The Babylock Evolution is a wonderful machine. It is so easy to thread with a simple push of the ExtraordinAir button. No more struggling with trying to thread by hand! Wish I had this machine years ago. Sure would have saved me so much aggravation trying to remember the threading sequence on my old serger. There is so much that can be accomplished with it. This machine performs so well, it makes sewing a dream!Plus it has 87 stitch combinations performs gathering so nice. I like the extra bit of chain stitch it leaves too! Epic machine
I have 2 of these machines that i bought from steves sewing and vac in king of prussia, pa.. these machines are literally the greates sergers you'll ever buy. They don't jam, very easy to convert from over lock to cover stitch and chain stitch mode, you can thread the machine in any order, if a looper thread breaks all you have to do is thread only that looper thread or any thread that broke with out re-threading the entire machine and jump right back into sewing. You can also utilize all 8 threads on this machine and you can even wave stitch too. I am so happy i got them because it makes sewing a ton more fun with going nuts and spending more time threading the machine like you would do a regular serger. You can even sew every fabric you have nearly beating it into the dirt and they will ... As with all Babylock products - this machine is awesome to say the least. Very easy to use and does a wonderful job - and once you learn ALL it can do - which take time - you will be amazed what you can make - such as a quilt - a whole dress, pants in fact I can't think of anything you can't make with it.
