  • Good reference for Wings Collectors

Overall interesting and informative book. The photos of the wings were a bit too dark for my taste - more of a copper color than gold. The first photo below is taken from the book, the second is a photo of wings in my collection. For the photo descriptions of the WW2 and later wings the authors seem to be more focused on how many 'berries' are in the shoulder of the wings than one should expect. The hallmark section is excellent, showing many (if not virtually all) of the hallmarks for the makers of these wings. Notwithstanding the few minor faults noted, a recommended book for the library of collectors of military wings.
