Awesome but not epic...
As an exterminator I have been using Maglite for many years. The older LED 2D flashlight I have has a tighter pinpoint beam which I miss. The one I just bought is brighter, but not as much as I expected by the numbers. I LOVE the on off switch feature that allows you to choose from multiple function sets depending on your needs. I have mine set to momentary, full power, and strobe. Time will tell if the switch is more durable than older models, which was always the reason I had to replace flashlights (switch failure). Maglite keeps getting better!
This third generation light is significantly brighter and weighs less than the previous version. The thumb switch allows one to easily select between high, medium, low and strobe.
