Outstanding Picture Book and more...
This book was used as inspiration for a full length feature film, but there was much lost in translation. Suffice it to say that I prefer the book, probably because I collect books with fantastic illustrations. Wayne Anderson is a talented and creative artist whose own imagination is a valuable asset to the authors that he has worked with over the decades. His medium is colored pencils, and with this labor-intensive process he gives such detail to his dragons and makes them look completely realistic--it reads like a historical documentary, with facts and details that cover all of the bases for skeptics. I cannot imagine that anyone who reads the book could ever not believe in dragons! If you want to be blown away with wonderful dragons, this is a perfect book! It may be ideal for reading ... Very Interesting
The idea that dragons once exsisted was a childhood fantasy for me. The flight of dragons is very interesting for the fact the writer belives dragons exsisted as well. Very informative and believable. The art work is great. I will be keeping this book in my collection for years to come.
