This volume describes the military's rapid response in developing and deploying mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles that ultimately overcame the threat of roadside bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan. Presents in detail all the major MRAPs: RG-31, RG-33, Cougar, Caiman, MaxxPro, and MATV. Also included are the early deployed M1117 ASVs as well as Husky and Buffalo route-clearance vehicles.

    Very good information if you want overview about MRAPS

    Typical solid quality overview and details about the MRAP vehicles you would expect from the In Action series. I particularly like the attention to the variants and configurations used in-theater...the photos provide excellent detail on operational MRAPS and the different kits used as the vehicle's needs and mission evolved. This book is a great resource for modelers that want to understand how soldiers used these outstanding vehicles.
