    Rock and Roll Icon Delivers

    I always thought Eric Burdon had a unique voice and style. I liked that his lyrics were meaningful, too. In that sense, nothing has changed with this icon of rock and roll. This man can still sing and delivers with thoughtful prose and poetry and a hard-hitting style that is what made him a star. I had the unbelievable pleasure of seeing him and his band in the early 70s at a very small club. He did not give a "small" show, that's for sure. One of the most memorable concerts I ever attended. I'm a fan - 50 years and counting.

    Too depressing!

    A lot of the CD is depressing. It deals with lives lost to drugs etc. One song is worth the price of the CD. It's called "Bo Diddley Special".

    Eric Burdon's, "Till Your River Runs Dry"

    I bought this CD by Eric Burdon because I had heard one of the songs on my satellite car radio and knew I just had to have it! What a fabulous artist and Blue's singer he is! The song he wrote, that captured my attention is, "Invitation To The White House." Burdon is a gifted artist, and I would rate him as one of the top 5 Blues Artists of all times!
