Affordable Alternative
Anyone who has bought, used, and had to replace the Berkey water filter system will know that the expense of replacing the filter units these daze (days) makes one think of alternative methods by which to filter the water we drink. However, the initial expense of purchasing one or more of the Berkey systems would make the decision to choose another type of system difficult, and besides, they do work quite well, and are simple to use. Finding a less expensive source for the filtering units to the rather expensive Berkey brand filters are a treat, especially given the fact that they look and fit the same as the Berkey brand, and seem to perform just as well. My only complaint, and it is not of the filters themselves, is the fact that the filtered water from the containers are in constant ... cant compare to originals, but these definitely do the trick
