    So much better than the knock-offs

    True Yamaha pedals are much more substantial than the after-market ones. We've tried and have given up on the knock-offs because of the following partial list of problems: 1) flexible base under the pedal allows the whole thing to flex down and thus not trip the switch reliably, 2) internal switch connection unreliable, 3) light weight and slides around.

    It Has Half-Pedal ability

    If your keyboard has half-pedal function — and Yamaha made it — this is the pedal you need. It works for all momentary functions and was the included pedal with S series synths. Remember if yours is not a Yamaha, it’s likely NOT going to work.
