      Great top tier card

      While not on the spectrum of the GTX 980 or 980Ti, this card does wonders in most AAA games, while helping case airflow. This is why I love reference design cards. Not only are they much cooler looking in my book, but in computer cases with poor airflow, they can get the hot air out of the case, and keep the GPU hot air, out of the case by blowing all the air out the back of the case.

      Runs a bit hot

      Gtx 970 has held its value so well. Even late 2018 its a solid budget pick especially if you find one for 125 or under. This card is a NVIDIA Reference model, with single fan and fully enclosed with rear panel exhaust. Even at stock 970 clock speeds reaches ~80 C under full load, so not a lot of room to overclock most likely

      Great gpu for the price

      Personally I always wanted a reference card. Other than that this card works great and it performs close to a gtx 1060 which is a good thing because the 1060 at the time of this review is way overpriced. All in all I am satisfied with my purchase and shipping was fast and that is always a good thing.

      I already owned one before making my purchase bought the second one because the first was amazing for the price great frame rates and capable of handling the load on some of the newer games

      Good upgrade from old 770

      The reference 970 is working well. Good upgrade and more efficient (less power draw) than my old 770. I am getting higher FPS in AC: Origins and Far Cry 5, which I'm happy about.
