Up on closer examination of the photos, replacing the top cover on an old ThinkPad can be a pricey proposition, and I'm sure the seller would have put it in decent packaging and gotten it to me quick. The item would have definitely been as described, and would have been great value for money for someone who is into totally restoring a laptop.
