About this product
Product Information
There were an estimated 50 million people worldwide living with dementia in 2017 and this number will almost double every 20 years, reaching 82 million in 2030. Design has significant potential to contribute to managing this global concern. This book is the first to synthesise the considerable research and projects in dementia and design. Design interactions is a new way of considering how we can improve the relationship between people, products, places and services and of course technology trends, such as the 'internet of things', offer great opportunities in providing new ways to connect people with services and products that can contribute to healthier lifestyles and mechanisms to support people with acute and chronic conditions. In light of this, the book explores the contribution and future potential of design for dementia through the lens of design interactions, such as people, contexts, material and things. Design for People Living with Dementia is a guide to this innovative and cutting-edge field in healthcare. This book is essential reading for healthcare managers working to provide products, services and care to people with dementia, as well as design researchers and students. .

- 3***3- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseAn excellent eBay seller. Great communication. They worked with me to ensure a great experience. The book I bought was all better than described, packed very well and securely, and shipped fast. The asked amount was a very fair market value. I would highly recomment this seller, and would not hesitate to order from them again. Thank you!Photography: Going Film Pro I: Revisiting the Nikon F4, Brand New, Free P&P i... (#405250928237)
- t***r (1860)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseIt was ordered 19th May and item stated it would take a few days but arrived 30th May with 48 hr Royal Mail tracking??? The postage location was in UK but came from the USA luckily it arrived in time as a present so just be mindful if need it quickly. Otherwise item as described and good price would recommend and purchase from again.
- r***d (27)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseI am not happy with the service. I placed the order on 28th May and then received notification that the item would not be dispatched until July, so I immediately cancelled the order. The seller responded to say they had no record of the order. I assumed that the cancellation request has been actioned. I have now received an email from eBay saying that the seller refuses to cancel as it is too late. How can immediate cancellation be too late. Very poor service.
