    expensive but necessary if you want better control and comfort.

    this shim is great for taller guys like me that need the handle bar up higher. stock position was too low for me. the shim raised the bars up to a more tolerable level and I feel more in control of the bike.at $28 bucks for 2 little shims I felt it was excessive.they say show chrome but the shim isnt visible under the bars then when the cover is installed no one can tell the shims are there. shim is solid unlike some made from rubber and plastic.4 stars minus 1 for price.
