        Worked perfectly for what I wanted.

        It did EXACTLY what I bought it to do: cook the interior of a 2 1/2 inch ribeye steak to uniform medium rare (around four hours of (silent!!) unattended cooking, followed by transfer to a very hot grill to brown the outside in as short a time as possible. Perfect. I don't know yet whether it durable (haven't had it long enough). I SEEMS to be well buiit, so I'd guess it is. A nice feature is that the timer that keeps track of the minimum time at the chosen cooking temperature, starts automatically as soon as the waterbacth has reached that chosen temperature.

        Kitchen Gizmo Sous Vide review

        Very happy with it. All manual. I don’t need WiFi or Bluetooth. The control knob and display are excellent. The noise is not too loud and is acceptable. Totally happy with this model. No need to spend more money for bells and whistles I don’t need. It was brand new in the original box. The New York Times Wirecutter review website recommended it a few years ago as a good choice for the economical category Paid $53 with free shipping and the option to return.

        Great Purchase!

        My boss raved about his sous vide, but I didn't want to make the investment. When I saw this great price. I took the plunge. Cooked my first brisket ever and used the sous vide. It was amazing!

        Not Bad But Controls Are hard To Use

        Works well - once you get it going. The timer continues to run past the working time, the temperature is hard to adjust. You're pretty much on your own since the instructions are vague and incomplete. Once you get it cooking, it works just fine but you'll need to write down what you did to get there!

        Seems to be well built.

        Followed the directions for doing a T-Bone steaks and they turned out exactly how they were supposed to. Will be trying different items real soon. It seems well built, time will tell. Thanks for a new way to cook.
