      This product is the "real deal".

      I used it on a PC delivered refurbished with Windows10 that Microsoft's forced updates reduced to junk. They kept overwriting drivers. I purchased 2 "OEM Versions" of Windows 7 Ultimate only to have them declared to be out of license terms by MS and blacklist the machine. After installing this product, everything works, works very well, and updates without bricking the machine - when I choose also, I might add! What a difference! I use the machine in control applications with an IEEE488 bus (Which is apparently too antique for Microsoft to consider as a useful function). Finding a new Win10 machine that is actually configured with 488 support (That MS does not also break with forced updates) has been a fruitless endeavor. Apparently the only MS-approved activities for new ...

      Auto activate doesnt always work with legacy products, as long as you have the box and key though, it should be a go.

      Had to call Microsoft to activate, there was not an issue with key, they prompted me on what to set through cmd line and it has been working since.
