A little different from original, but works.
This item was a little different from the original especially the electric connecting port positions. At first I thought I got wrong item, but after looking at very carefully, there were some labels like 1a, 1b, 2 and etc for at least some ports. I was little scared that it might blow and damage my stove if I connect any of these wrong, but following few of those labels and using which port connects to which element, I was able to guess the proper ports (or at least I hope I did because it seems to work). The heating coils are definitely different as well. When I turn on the original and this replacement, you can definitely see the different pattern of red heating elements. But it's not a big deal as long as it works. This item has big empty gap in the center where as the original item ... It seems to be working fine. The installation was a little confusing. Simply matching placement of wires to prongs from the old element led to an issue of a wrong sized fitting (too small) to go onto one of the prongs of the new element. So, I cut off and replaced the fitting with a larger one. Only then did I notice numbers etched in the elements near the connections. Using those numbers, I switched the wires discovering that I didn't need to replace the fitting by following the numbers. It was swapping the placement of two wires to match connector numbers vs location. Not intuitive. Some instructions would've been nice.It seems to be working fine. Works perfectly!
Replaced our old burner because it only went straight to high and was burning everything. No dual burner either. This unit fixed that problem completely. Now we have dual burner functionality and can control the heat just like when our range was new. It was very easy to replaced too. Best part is my wife is happy again.

Great value, install carefully
Higher wattage than stock burner, on both inner 'small' coils and when both are operating. When installing, NOTE the wire connectors labeling, as connectors are in different location from stock burner.
