Tom Cruise stars as a soldier who lives out the last day of his life over and over again in this Warner Bros. sci-fi production from director Doug Liman. Emily Blunt and Bill Paxton co-star, with Dante Harper and Joby Harold providing the script. Major William Cage is an officer who hasnÆt lived a single moment in the frontlines of combat, only to be dropped straight into the greatest bloodbath in human history. A battle he canÆt win, one in which he will be killed just minutes into entering the fray. However, rather than simply pass away, Cage finds himself waking up before this final battle, forced to relive the dayàand then it happens again. Live, die repeat. Live, die, repeat. Through this time-loop, Cage begins to grow stronger and survive longer, and with the help of Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski, he will use each encounter as another step closer to finally ending the bloody war with a seemingly unstoppable alien enemy.
