    Good choice for a low-priced non-managed gigabit switch

    For a low price, quick and easy switch from 100Mb to 1000Mb this is as good as it gets. There is nothing to read, configure, tweak or change. Just plug and play. So far it is working great, no problems of any kind. I am able to use my category 5/5e cables with good results although I did buy a few cat 6 cables to be on the safe side. This unit is sitting flat (no small rubber feet installed) on top of a moderately warm 10/100 16-port Ethernet hub and it is still running only slightly warm to the touch. And since it is fanless there is no noise. I am very pleased with this unit.

    Good reliable network switch.

    A good product that does what you expect it to do. Nice compact size that fits between the five port and the next size, 16 port industrial strength corporate model. It would be nice if manufacturers would put the connections on the back and the lights on the front as I'm not a fan of seeing all the cables in a home office.

    Great product.

    Didnt need 8 ports but only a couple more bucks for this one over the 5 port. Hook it up and it just started working. No fuss. Doing what it is supposed to do and doing it well.

    Perfect SoHo switch.

    Plugged it in and it Just Worked. Silent, compact, and solidly made (metal case, firmly anchored ports), and doesn't get hot like my old switch. In fact I'm about to buy a 2nd of the same unit.

    Fantastic!

    Great unmanaged switch for a small wired home network. I have exactly right devices to hard wire and I really like TP-Link products. I have decided to buy most of my electronics used, so when this turned up during my search I was quick to purchase. It was inexpensive, in like-new condition, and performs as well as my former, much more expensive, Netgear switch.
