    Really big “move up” in my learning to design in Fusion 360

    Getting this “Navigator mouse” is a really great “move up” in my Fusion 360 workflow! Though I was making good progress in learning the design tools of Fusion, my ability to move models around the workspace seemed not to be improving and remained clumsy and disorienting. The Compact Space mouse has made it smooth and intuitive and I feel like it really speeds up my work. The mouse comes with a short tutorial of practice moves which is very much worth doing. After that, I felt like I could move models with the interface pretty well after about an hour of designing with it. Now, after practicing with it for only a few design sessions, I’m able to just move models and change views very intuitively. I don’t think I would need any of the more complicated versions of this interface. This one ...

    Grab your 3D model with one hand and manipulate it

    I bought a wired 3DConnexion Compact spacemouse, it does take a bit of getting used to and may require you to reverse some of the movements in your preferred 3D software to feel correct. It's a lot like having the ability to grab your 3D model with one hand and manipulate it. (it exactly that) I love having a dedicated model positioning device. You can easily get away without one but now that I've tried it, I don't want to work without it.

    Great 3D navigator!

    Great 3D mouse for CAD software. Also has good software to adjust the sensitivity and button configuration to better suit your needs. The 3D SpaceMouse also has some functionality outside of CAD which can be adjusted in the software as well.
