        Torch-Song Trilogy is one of the best LGBT+ movies of it's time.

        This movie is extremely well done. (spoiler alert) A gay drag queen falls in love with a younger man, who dies. The queen's mother can't understand the emotions felt after the death. I can understand the emotions that were bottled up and the grieving that didn't happen. Having lost my 'soulmate' 20 years ago, I still have the feelings of loss. This is a tear-jerker movie and I do recommend that people watch it. Great cast and they fit into the story-line very well.

        I laughed I cried I found strength

        A great movie that never really got any publicity at release due to the divisive nature of gay rights at that time. The script was accurate and well written. I grew up closeted in the 70's and watched this on opening night in a little theater in Dayton OH. Whether str8 or gay, this is a most excellent first date movie. If your date doesn't laugh and cry when you do, it should be the first and last date LOL

        Gay classic!

        Watching this oldie was like seeing an old friend. A must see! A gay classic! Laugh and some tears. I haven’t seen this movie in over 20 yrs but as it played I remembered some of the classic lines. Great movie to have in your gay library DVD’s!

        Torch Song Trilogy

        Every single actor in this is perfet, even the ones who are only on for minutes! The story is engaging and Harvey Fierstein is an absolute genius! I am a straight woman and this is my favorite movie of all time!
