The Z77A-G45 by MSI is a Military Class III motherboard. It has passed MIL-STD-810G certification, which means that it has solid capacitors and other premium components throughout its build. Based on the Intel Z77 chipset and using the LGA1155 socket, this board supports the Intel Core i7 processor. It features a 100 MHz base clock and supports HyperTransport. The form factor is ATX, and its dimensions are 3.8 by 13 by 10.2 inches, which means that it's designed for full-size desktop computers.The MSI Z77A-G45 motherboard is controlled via a Plug-and-Play UEFI BIOS. Included MSI software like OC Genie II makes overclocking a breeze. In fact, a one-button OC can deliver more than a 35% boost in gaming performance. This hardware also features Active Phase Switching. APS technology not only increases the efficiency of the board, it helps to ensure a long lifespan. This APS implementation can even reduce the load on the PSU, which can greatly extend the lifespan of that part and connected components.MSI has optimized these motherboards for gaming on every level from the firmware to the gold plating used on components. The seven expansion slots mean that you can upgrade or customize it further. There are two PCI-e Gen3s that offer x16 bandwidth. A PCI-e Gen2 runs at x4, and there are four PCI-e x1 that you can use for wireless adapters, sound cards, and so forth. If you enable the integrated graphics included with your CPU, the board connects to your display via HDMI, DVI, or VGA. You can also opt for a discreet graphics card. In fact, this board supports up to two graphics cards via NVIDIA SLI and AMD CrossFireX. The sound is delivered via an onboard Realtek ALC892 chipset that delivers 8-channel hi-def audio.Memory is provided to the system via dual-memory architecture. The board has four DIMM slots with support for dual-channel mode. Each slot can handle up to 8GB. At maximum capacity and with a 64-bit OS, the system would have access to 32GB of system memory. By default, this DDR3 operates at 1066 to 1600 MHz. With overclocking, speeds of 2667 MHz and beyond are possible. Storage is made available through four SATA II and two SATA III headers. This allows up to 6GB/s throughout for hard drives and solid-state drives. RAID setups are also possible in 0, 1, 5, and 10 configurations.MSI has also implemented an array of connectivity options. This includes two USB 3.0 and four 2.0 USB ports that are accessible from the rear I/O panel. In addition, an onboard connector provides one USB 3.0 and three USB 2.0 headers. Use these headers to wire external connections on the PC case. An integrated Realtek 8111E PCI-e LAN adapter provides 10/100/1000 Fast Ethernet via an RJ-45 jack.You can install the MSI Z77A-G45 motherboard in practically any PC case via nine mounting holes. It uses any standard power supply with a 24-pin and an 8-pin ATX connector.     Kunststoff-Dome-Tweeter Diaphragma. Bei der ersten Lieferung war das Paket komplett flach gedrückt und alle 8 gekauften Diaphragmen waren zerstört. Torunerholder hat sofort Ersatz gesendet. Die Verpackung ist für den Versand von 8 empfindlichen Diaphragmen eindeutig zu klein und nicht stabil genug. Aber alle Probleme wurden gelöst, Kommunikation sehr freundlich und lösungsorientiert.

    Lacks 2 features but very stable board for manual vcore o/c'ing.

    Bought this to replace an ASUS board that had 2 ram slots go out in a power surge. This board works 100percent, the bios is slightly different from the asus board. NO OFFSET VOLTAGE OR LLC. This means you HAVE to use a set manual voltage or the auto for your v-core to scale down with core speed if you like to do that. Other than that everything is perfect and the huge headsinks do help with O/C stabilization. Would buy again for future chipsets if offset and llc were a part of the package.

    Junk, don't buy

    I'm new to building my own computer and I can say that I was duped on this product. I should've never bought this product, and you shouldn't either. Within a month and a half I went to turn my computer on and it wouldn't turn on. I payed 35 dollars to get it looked at and the problem was this motherboard. I was told that it was not my fault in the sense that I was too rough with the components or stuff was put in wrong etc. The mother board just shorted. I had it on a surge protector so no weather could have been the problem either. I'm sad that I fell for this cheap junky mother board and ended up burning 123 dollars. The last time I buy something from eBay

    Drop in replacement for my old motherboard.

    Took a while to get it, but hey.. It’s coming from China. I bought this to replace the same motherboard I’ve had running continuously since November of 2012. I moved all my components from my old board to my new one. Other than setting up my RAID configs, it booted right into my OS. Been working perfect since.

    Great performer for the money

    I purchased this as a replacement for my MSI Z77A-G45 which suffered a bad SATA controller. I swapped it with my old board and my computer came up just like it never failed at all. It is screaming fast and functioning just as it should.
