For example the gold tigers eye pair had one plug with bright visible gold bands and the other one was solid black so it didn't look like a matching pair when they're actually in my ears. The red and blue tigers eye both look solid black on the visible ends of the plugs so these definitely aren't as vibrant as I was expecting, but it is obvious they're made of the correct material. Just bad luck I guess.
