Seller Notes: “This dollar series started out being called the Sacagawea dollar in honor of Sacagawea who guided ... “This dollar series started out being called the Sacagawea dollar in honor of Sacagawea who guided Louis and Clark on their trip across this nations wilderness going to the Pacific ocean. In 2009 the mint elected to start using the term Native American as the reverse that originally was an Eagle, now has different designs on the reverses depicting different events with the original Americans, the rest of us are just immigrants to this country who came to settle this land. The coin's may show differing types of contact marks on the obverse & reverse of the coins in various places, but they are brilliant uncirculated on most of them. Some look like the dies had trash build up at the rims by the clusters of very small scratches. Proof coins may exhibit faint ghost like characteristics in the mirrored fields. Major ghosting I will not send out, but minor ghosting may be found on more and more of these proofs.”
