For the upper part for squats I've hit 300 on a barbell it seems to hold it fine. This is built better than expected if you put it together tight. I personally wouldn't go over 350-400 for the squat pieces. For the safeties I wouldn't go over probably 450 unless you are in a garage just doing rack pulls and can risk these breaking eventually. Not saying it will

Buyers should know that a metric socket set (ratchet recommended) that includes a 17mm socket head is essential for efficient and safe assembly. Performance: Superb. In use three times a week for six weeks with relatively light weights (less than 50 lbs). Structure is stable, quickly adjustable from squat height to bench.
