      Needed a way to install an electrical outlet in my new cargo trailer, so I could close the doors . This was an easy install and worked great. mounted the input low to the front of the trailer so acess is easy and unnoticed. weatherproof cover works great.

      Had to trim to fit Ram 2500.

      Had to trim 1/8” off top and bottom (1/4” total) to get it to fit in my 2015 Ram 2500 front bumper. Other than that it’s a well built, quality plug. In my case, I would have went with the circle one. It’s measures 3 inches tall (I could never find that listed)

      Perfect for enclosed trailers

      Just what I needed to run power out to my enclosed bike trailer without having an extension cord running through a partially open door or ramp. Great for having the bike plugged into a battery tender. Real good quality and easy to install.

      Just a minor improvement suggestion

      This should be a five star rating, Excellent quality, good design and well made. The only improvement I would suggest are thru screws with nylock nuts and a flat washer on the port plug face and between the plastic valence and the ny-lock. Maybe supply both (that suggested option) and the three self tapping screws that are supplied, and let the installer make the choice. This is not a fault of the port plug - the plastic in the valence is so thin that there isn't really enough material to allow sufficient bite for the self taps. Otherwise very happy with the product!
