    Good construction, we use it 5 days a week. We use it for buffing our cars and the adjustable speeds are great Quiet and smooth running. Saved over $100 by finding it on Ebay. Highly recommend this model.

    Great buffer/polisher!

    For a light waxing or polishing of a new car, a random orbital is leagues better. However, for paint restoration, and buffing out fresh clearcoat, anything that needs real cutting power, a variable speed rotary is king. This entry-level DeWalt is really the cheapest option that has any sort of reputation or build quality worth mentioning. Everything cheaper is the same generic garbage over and over with 1000 different brand names. It's powerful, relatively quiet, and runs very smoothly. It stays cooler than my cheaper rotaries as well. DeWalt builds their tools solid. I got mine moderately used and it works like new. Plus, it's totally re-buildable and the parts are cheap and common. Compares favorably to my Milwaukee power tools which are another rock solid brand. Highly recommended. ...

    Bought this to use as a auto polish buffer Was disappointed that it didn’t come with buffing wheels and that they are additional but this is a serious beast for buffing

    Better than Milwaukee! Light weight and lasts a very long time!

    We use it every day for grinding/sanding in our shop. These grinders/polishers last much longer than the more expensive Milwaukee variable speed grinders.
