Superior and less expensive than the last replacement I purchased
The thick, braided cable seems more ready to stand up to day to day abuse than others I've owned in the past, and I can barely remember the last time I owned an Android compatible in-line remote (I even had to download a distant purchase from the Play Store to get some added functionality). This is where former headphone cables have failed since the remote adds two additional stress points. Definitely won't last forever, but for the price, I'm quite satisfied.
The connectors that mate to the headphones are not of the highest quality, nor is the wire before the Y split but the braided steel housing on the main section of the line is actually very nice! It's a good length if you sit at your desktop all the time while using them. I only have it because I like the HD58X for computer use and very occasionally I like to skype or to chat while playing a game and an extra cable was cheaper/smaller to store than a USB microphone. I am now an owner of the 650s for over 5 years. Early on I was looking for a product like this to wear while hiking (and more generally while not specifically at my computer). I'm really glad to have come across this while having temporarily misplaced the 6.25 to 3.5 adapter. It makes no sense to walk around with a 12 foot cable attached to these headphones. Also I don't notice any discernible drop in quality. Thanks a lot for filling this product void!I am now an owner of the 650s for over 5 years.
