    Great product, I recommend upgrading your climate control gears as well, to the revised set to provide additional ease turning climate control knob

    The product was packaged very well, and was the last component I needed to re-do my 04 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart's climate control knob. I initially replaced the knob & stem as it had broken off from turning very, very rough. After getting everything apart, I noticed that the cable was bent and this replacement cable was exactly what I needed!! Genuine Mitsubishi Parts go a long way, and this item is one of them. On a side note: (If you are still having issues with a tough turning climate control knob after replacing the cable): I would also recommend upgrading your climate control gears, to the revised version that comes in the (2006?) Lancers, Ralliarts, and Evo 9s. There is a slight difference in the plastic gear mechanism, that goes a long way with the whole "Tough to turn" climate ...
