The digitizer layer was damaged as well from the impact. We contacted you and let you know that we would have to replace the digitizer screen for this due to this. As you are aware the lcds for the ipad 12.9 2nd gen are not cheap. Costs for part only start at $400. We did everything we could possible to keep the cost low. We were still able to save you over $100 than replacing the entire screen.iPad Air, Pro, 10.5, 11 & 12.9 all Gens Screen Glass Replacement Repair Service (#204230033827)
