    What can you say about the Nikon F Photomic? This camera and accompanying system is a seminal product and marks the evolution of cameras and photography even to this day. Construction rugged enough to make this the Viet Nam war field camera as well as the 135mm system used by NASA. Through the lens metering with bright focusing. Top level lenses, multiple viewfinders, changeable focusing screens. This camera rewrote the rules for professional photography from commercial, to sports and fashion, and journalism. If you are going to work in analog (film) photography on a serious level this is one piece of equipment you must have (the other two are the Canon AE-1 and Hasselblad 500).     Nikon F...the best ever.

    The Nikon F is hands down the best 35mm camera ever made! I have bodies that I bought new back in the late 60s and they are still working like new. Super build-quality that is lacking in newer digital cameras. The only possible Achilles Heal is the meter. As these cameras aged, the meters became less accurate but if you know how far off they are, you can compensate by changing the ASA dial. I still have my old F2s and F3s, but I keep coming back to the F. If you are new to 35mm film photography, this is the camera you want. Good deals can be had on this incredible camera. I love mine.

    Very Clean Camera
