The Tacx Neo 2T is the first trainer I have owned. I just bought my first Road bike last December. It was easy to setup. I have no experience working on bikes, and I could figure it out between youtube and the manual. The trainer is heavy, very well built. It simulates inclines and downhills. So far I have gotten a lot of really good workouts with the trainer. It also folds up, so you can put it away when not in use.

    Check this out!

This trainer will make all the difference in how often you get on your bike during inclement weather conditions. I love that I am on my road bike and not on something else. The scenery along the way certainly adds interest to your ride. It’s great to feel the energy it takes to climb hills just like out on the road. Choose the difficulty of your ride depending on how you are feeling that day. Ride with a buddy who also has the same trainer.

  • Small but welcome incremental improvements above the previous generation

I owned an earlier version of this trainer, was happy with it but also was curious about what they were able to accomplish with the newer version. A couple of things stand out above and beyond the usual marketing hyperbole, 1) It's a bit quieter than the previous version, 2) It specifies the power output from each leg/stroke as opposed to simply giving you the total power output. Small incremental changes, kind of like the iPhone upgrades from one year to the next. What you do with it depends on how serious you are about indoors training and your allocated budget to such activities or how lonely you feel during the winter months in your neck of the woods.

  • Great Trainer - One Poor Design Oversight

I like it! It's a great trainer. Easy to set up. Easy to maintain. Easy to get started. Works wondrously. My only complaint is that the trainer itself doesn't pick up Bluetooth or ANT+ signals. The consequence of that is that, if you have a HRM, you need an external device to read the HR. So, if your HRM is ANT+, then you need a separate Garmin device just to get your HR, rather than the trainer reading you HR and sending it as a single data stream to your single device. Just kinda a dumb and extra devices and extra work for no reason, especially if you're pay $2,500 for a trainer.

  • Excellent trainer

An excellent trainer with fancy light, simulation of different road surface, accurate resistance, portable design and works steadily.

  • Best Smart Trainer out there.

Smooth. Quiet. Accurate. Comfortable. This is a fantastic trainer. The slight lateral movement adds just enough give to make long rides much more enjoyable. Perfect for Zwift. The feedback when you ride over cobbles or boardwalks is pretty cool too.
