I tend to bump the front of the 24mm-720mm lens on my FUJI HS 30EXR when I have it cranked out. I've broken several of the plastic tulip-style hoods. These rubber hoods are perfect for my purposes. At the widest angle, 24mm, the lens hood shows at the corners of the frame, until I wised up and folded the hood back... duh! I've never had a lens flare using one of these, which is, obviously, the whole point! Great accessory!
