Notes
Klaxons exploded onto the music scene this year in a day glo burst of punk riffs, all out hedonism and classic British art school conceptual cheek. Now with their debut album Jamie Reynolds (26), Simon Taylor (24) and James Righton (23) look set to prove that they're more than just a flash in the pan, a London media fad, an excuse to froth about 'new rave'. The lads have come good with eleven tracks that rocket by in thirty-five minutes emanating more energy than a nuclear explosion. Along the way, they bite chunks out of multiple unlikely musical influences, spatter their lyrics with a who's who of cult literature, and end up with a music that's catchy, driven and undeniably unique. It's how debut albums should sound, a raw manifesto that will bemuse the oldsters and invigorate the fans, a window into new possibilities, a dynamic party where those who 'get it' dance frantically and those who don't go back home.

These replacement pads are poor quality. They have little hairs sticking out of them which will get stuck to the Head of the cassette player or worse electostaticly cling to the cassette tape. they were poorly cut with some ends being too big and others too skinny. there is no way I would trust putting this into my vintage cassette tapes. they are far from the style of pads that were originally installed. I put a few original ones in the photos for reference. The seller has refused to refund me.

Item is as described. I am slightly worried about shedding because the fibers are quite large, however I think it should be ok. I’m looking forward to getting some of my fav cassettes back in rotation.

  • New style of music!

I decided to buy this CD because of one song ('Golden Skans") and ended up loving the whole CD. It is a brilliant combination of old 'new wave,' contemporary pop and industrial music! Who would have thought that such a combination would sound this good! I would certainly recommend this CD for anyone who likes to dance, listen to something special, or just groove.

  • Something else.

If you don't like it at first, give it a couple more tries. It took me awhile to get into Klaxons, since I didn't like them at first. But the CD is very good, with its own uniqueness. The lyrics are bizarre and many are catchy. There's nothing wrong with this album at all. I only give this CD a good rating because nothing's perfect is it? I'm not an expert.

  • Best Klaxons CD!

In my opinion, The Klaxons best material to date. One of my favorite CDs.'Myths' marks the debut for the fun-loving dance-rock (or as the band themselves call it, "new rave") four-piece from Brighton, England.

  • my favorite cd!!!

this cd doesnt have a song i dont like on it, myths of the near future is a great album to have along with the new surfing the void album! LOVE BOTH!!
