    Justice League - Paradise Lost

    My kids are into Justice League right now, so I picked this one up. The first 2 episodes are about Wonder Woman going back to her homeland and finding her compatriots turned to stone by a sorcerer who is working for the lord of hades. So the Justice League comes to her aid to find relics assembling a key to unlock the gates of hell and release the lord of hades to regain dominion over the earth. Lots of idolatry and false god worship, Wonder Woman repeatedly calling on greek or amazon gods for help. The good guys win, but not worth the exposure. I don't recommend it for anyone, unless they are into the occult or something. The third and fourth episodes "War World" was pretty good. Straight forward Gladiator style format.     Justice League DVD Paradise Lost & War World

    Two full episodes (two parts each). 1st episode is Paradise Lost. Wonder Woman returns home to find everyone turned to stone. She must collect serveral ancient artifacts to bring to an evil scientist in order to free her sisters. The artifacts make a key which releases the evil god Hades. The Justice League must help Wonder Woman defeat Hades and free her sisters. 2nd episode is War World. Superman and The Martian Man Hunter are injured in a deep space voyage a found by a ship from War World. Superman is forced to fight several opponents for entertainment. In the end, Superman convinces one major fighter to leave his path of revenge and take his place as ruler of War World and stop the fights for good.

    The best of the best of early Justice League!

    These episodes are probably the best episodes you can get of Justice League within the first season. Justice League is always amazing with its beautiful animation and its true to the comic feel, and these are some of the best. If you love Superman, War World is better than any of the animated series episodes because it shows him completely triumphant. Paradise Lost is good too for Wonder Woman fans. Overall, this is the best cartoons of justice league available on the market.

    Justice League DVD worth a watch

    This DVD has 2 two-part episodes that really show what talent the story writers have. In "Paradise Lost" we get the first real glimpse into Wonder Woman's past and the bond of friendship that she has with the rest of the founding members of the Justice League. There some great fight scenes and of course the wise cracking Flash gets a few verbal jabs in there as well. I highly recommend this DVD, it is fun for all ages.
