I'm not blaming the seller, this purchase is on me; except, this drill takes an uncommon battery! I couldn't find one to fit it anywhere. The spare craftsmen battery I bought doesn't fit either. Once again, I wasn't conned by the seller, except, nowhere is there even a link to a battery that DOES fit this thing. I decided to cut my losses and bought brand new Craftsmen cordless drill plus cordless impact gun for $100. At least the battery I bought fits those.

Drill uses a 20v Diehard battery that was sold by Sears. A Craftsman battery sold by Lowes, Ace, ect....look almost the same, but will not fit it.

    Terrible drill

    Purchased my second drill of this kind because the first one broke putting down edgeboard. Not an extremely daunting task. So now the drill slips, so I purchased this one to make use of the 2 batteries I own and the $150 investment I made. You know because they change their proprietary battery design every 5 minutes to try and force you into buying a whole new drill altogether.
