    A must buy on blu ray, especially for fans of the series.

    I have long been a Fan of Wes Craven's horror masterpiece "A Nightmare on Elm Street" and now with High Definition and Blu Ray, Fred Krueger has never been more frightening. The Picture and sound are both amazingly sharp and crisp, details that previously were too dark or obscure to see are now in focus with amazing clarity and detail. The movie is still the same with the same great actors and wonderful story and musical score, now you can just see everything so much clearer. Don't worry the night time dream sequences are still dark and scary, and the film still retains just enough grain to keep it from looking too washed out. Extras on the disc are mostly ported over from the infinifilm dvd, which isn't too shabby.All in all one of the better efforts by WB for one of the better horror ...
