    Love to see these guys perform!

    I just love these guys! They have such a great beat, the whole DVD is very engaging. What they can do with those pipes and the piano is just awesome! No one would expect that hitting piano wires can make such a great sound.

    Nobody can possibly be disappointed with this box set.

    Whether you are a big Blue Man Group fan or merely curious, this dvd should be in your collection. For being a live performance, this show is really tight and really funny. And the musicians backing the Blues sound really impressive, I wouldn't be surprised if they were some of the best in the business. And in addition to the live performance music, the equal of many studio recordings, you get a bonus CD of music cuts. In fact, there's lots of bonus stuff that's really interesting or funny. I love the music video of the Donna Summer song, 'I feel love'. This is honestly the best version I have ever heard of this song. Overall, I can't imagine any reason that anybody wouldn't like this box set. It gets my highest rating. And the Blue Man Group rocks!

    Blue Man Group, How To Be A Megastar 2.1 DVD & CD

    I went to see this tour event live just a few weeks ago. I came home and immediately ordered this box set of the show (DVD & CD). The music at the live show was tremendous... but the sound quality of the DVD and the CD is second to none! Sounds like a studio job, even coming through my LARGE surround system! If you have seen the show, then buy this set to keep and watch and listen to over and over. If you have not seen the show then... well, the DVD cannot come close to capturing the thrill, electricity and atmosphere of a live event... but it does come close!!! Throw this in the player, with the big screen tv... crank up the volume and enjoy the show!!! As far as stage shows get it does not get much more entertaining than this!!! ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Lights, camera, teach!

    I actually use this as a break from regular teaching in 8th grade science. It illustrates the sections on light, sound and electricity that we cover before showing this. Plus I just flat out enjoy the show myself. In the interview, they even refer to it as a whacked out science fair. ;)

    Rock Movement #1

    For those who are fans, and othres who are new to the Blue Man Group, this is a must see. The video is about as complete and accurate an interpretation of a live performance as possible. Video and sound quality are exceptional, and put my home theatre and sub to the test. The music is a blend of some previous material and new works. The use of visuals in many forms, and extensive use of audience participation make this a must see live show, and a great addition to any fan's collection! Enjoy.
