      Somewhat disapointed

      By modern standards this is a well made item. The usefulness of the removable strainer will depend upon your product and the rate of transfer. By wide mouth they are referring to the large bowl, the lower opening is sized to fit a regular mouth jar and not sized to fit a wide mouth jar as I had assumed.

      Well made wide funnel with removable strainer

      The item is well made and the feature of the removable silicone strainer was a plus. The silicone strainer fits nice & snug so when you pour it doesn’t pop up or move around like the metal strainers do. Only draw back is the funnel part is rather short and the not deep like the plastic ones in the market.

      Stainless Steel & Silicone…I couldn’t go wrong !!!

      I’ve been looking for a wide mouth funnel and when i saw this one…i knew it was the right one for me…i do a lot of cooking and canning and i needed one that could hold up to a lot of use…i don’t always need the strainer and this one is detachable and for the times i do…this one can handle temperature up to 500 degrees … I’ve cracked…shattered…split and melted several other funnels that were made of plastic/polymers but just couldn’t hold up … this one is not quite industrial grade…but it is very well made and will in use for years to come in my kitchen.
