    A Broadway Musical MUST See For Grown-Ups

    To begin with, this review is on the actual Broadway production being held at the Helen Hayes theatre in New York City. The "live" musical production is completely different than the movie; however, that said, if an adult over the age of at LEAST 45-50 years old has not treated themselves to the movie or the much more incredible broadway production, they are missing out! It is fascinating to watch and HEAR an era not that long ago and receive the sudden jolt that we were one time those same young kids surrounded by adults...both good and not-so good. Most of us were pretty good kids who occasionally made mistakes, but NOTHING like some of mistakes made by the youth and adults today. The compilation of music is energizing, spiritual, up-lifting, and leaves an adult ...

    Rock of Ages by Original Cast (CD, Jul-2009)

    I just went to see this musical in New York with my 17 year old grandson & unfortunately they had sold out of the CD. It was a delight to find out that story is narrated on the CD, along with all the great songs. It is a fabulous array of 1980 hits, reproduced with great new voices of 2009. If you can't get to the show this is the next best thing to being there. Highly recommended by my grandson too!

    Just what I wanted and needed. The jewel case had a couple cracks on the front, but that could have happened in the mail. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

    I get to relive my Broadway experience everyday! A+++

    This CD is the perfect addition to my collection! I absolutely LOVED this Broadway performance. This CD allows me to experience it again and again and again. I listen to this everyday and sing to it as loud as I can in the car...who cares...I JUST LOVE IT! Even if you didn't see Rock of Ages on Broadway, you will still find yourself singing along to your favorites from the 80's. This one is a Keeper!
