Inner tubes; the best solution to leaky utility-tire problems!
In this day of tubeless tires being used in nearly every wheeled installation, it is unusual to find inner tubes being used. However, as many of you know, when you have a utility tire with plenty of good tread that begins to leak, the trick that works is to install an inner tube. It's especially valuable when the wheel's rim just doesn't want to form an airtight seal. In my application, the two rear tires on a JD L108 garden tractor/mower wouldn't hold pressure for more than a day. The tires themselves had small leaks in their sidewalls, and the bead at the rim leaked, as well. Installing these two inner tubes has solved that problem. Their price was very reasonable; packaging and delivery time were just right.
