About this product

Product Information

Based on the successful television game show, Merv Griffin's Crosswords has players competing to answer crossword puzzle clues by filling in the right word. Players interact with a virtual Ty Treadway, who leads them through the game's four standards rounds. They'll face competition from another player (or computer-controlled character) in the first three rounds of play. Puzzle-stealing spoilers join the game in round two, and the overall winner faces a challenging final puzzle to solve alone in the final fourth round.

    Good for single player relaxation but not for two player gamers.

    If you like crosswords this can be a fun game. The game show version goes to fast though and 2 player get a little crazy but when you play in free play with no timer it can be relaxing. It has different levels of play from easy to hard. Controls were easy enough. I do like this game but if you are looking for a game to play with someone I don't think this would work good for you.

    Merv Griffin's Crosswords

    Bought this for my mother who needs to exercise, thought she could drag and drop in air, the letters..well, nothing like this at all. Its a challenge game, and you have to buzz in, that doesn't always work well. Other games are very challenging, and such a small pointer, cna't always hit the right letters in alphabet. Not recommended if you are not steady. Fun, for younger person, but not older.

    Great !!

    I like the option of playing the freeplay without going against the clock. I work in an assisted living community and the residents enjoy doing their crossword puzzles, so this gives them a chance to do them in a group. I purchased the game for my home also. I really enjoy the puzzles and they are as challenging as you choose them to be. Great game!!

    Good Game

    Bought it for my girlfriend. The game takes some getting used to. I think it might be a little easier to play with a standard controller as opposed to the Wii Remote.

    Fun, Educational, Challenging

    I like this game because it helps me to sharpen my spelling skills. This game is lots of fun and educational for my grand kids as well. They love the challenges and I love to see them learning new words.
