For all of the Troi & Riker fans out there!
In the first episode of Star Trek: TNG we know that there is a history between Troi and Riker. Of course, this is never explained to us. This book gives us the past, present, and future of these two characters. Peter David does an outstanding job of creating a history and future that not only fills in the blanks, but does not distort the history of this series or the movies. It is beautiful, full of action, and explains their friendship and service to each other in a crafty way. If you are a fan of the show and of these characters, you must read this.
